Climate Savers Computing Initiative and CeBIT Partner to Promote Green IT
Climate Savers Computing Initiative (CSCI) and CeBIT have entered into a strategic partnership. As part of the agreement, CSCI will contribute content and an exhibit to the "Green IT" section at CeBIT 2008. Formed in June 2007, CSCI counts among its members such global players as Intel, Google, Dell, EDS, HP, IBM, Lenovo, Microsoft, PG&E and the World Wildlife Fund. CSCI's ultimate goal is to reduce carbon emissions that result from computer operation.
