CeBIT Asia ranks among the leading international trade fairs for information technology, consumer electronics, telecommunications, software and services. This year, the three overall display categories were Digital Equipment and Systems, Business Processes, and Communications.
CeBIT Asia 2006 also presented a rich array of thematic highlights: In the Digital Equipment & Systems section, for example, visitors could literally get a firm grasp on the joys of the digital home, in the Digital Family Experience Area. In the Business Processes section, a big spotlight was on the issue of information security. In the Communications section, participants experienced a diversified lifestyle powered by the trendy technologies of 3G networks, VoIP, IPTV, etc.
