CeMAT Update: 80 Percent of Exhibit Space Already Booked

The intralogistics sector is still in its infancy but, judging by the CeMAT 2008 exhibitor sign-up rate, it's on solid footing and growing faster than practically any other branch of industry. CeMAT organizer Deutsche Messe AG predicts major growth in exhibitors and visitors, including a sizeable international contingent. Already, 80 percent of CeMAT's 807,290 square feet of net exhibit space is booked – including 120 first-time companies that account for 75,347 square feet – and both forklift halls are completely sold out.
