DOMOTEX Middle East is an international trade fair for carpets and floor coverings. The 2006 debut—which hosted 5,000 attendees and 241 exhibiting companies—was the fastest selling, new-to-market tradeshow in the history of the Dubai World Trade Centre.
According to Angela Schaschen, regional representative of show organizer Deutsche Messe AG, "The show has given the Middle East flooring and carpeting industry a great deal of exposure with more than 39 percent of visitors coming from abroad."
