Wireless Automation to Take Center Stage at HANNOVER MESSE
As the website of the Institute for Automation and Communication (ifak) puts it, "In the field of industrial automation, wireless communication is far more than just an add-on for wired communication systems, it is now an established 'integral component of heterogeneous automation networks'." ifak is helping to organize the WIRELESS AUTOMATION display in Hall 6, where wireless communications technologies such as Bluetooth, ZigBee, WLAN and of course WirelessHART will take center stage. Further additions to the program include GSM and UMTS mobile telephony solutions for remote maintenance and system monitoring.
