27 May, 12:30 – 60th Anniversary of the Berlin Air Lift Commemoration Ceremony

At the Airlift Memorial site with Chancellor of German Angela Merkel, US Ambassador to Germany, William Timken, USAF vice Chief of Staff. General Duncan McNabb, the Air Chiefs from several NATO countries and the American and UK airmen of the 1948–49 Berlin Airlift including the "Chocolate Pilot" Col. Gail Halverson. Huge crowd expected for this historic event.
