Inadequate Defense Funding Has Some Europeans Worried

Under funding of the European military is having an adverse impact on their ability to project power outside of Europe and is restricting mission capability. It is not a great stretch to expect the European defense industry to be feeling the pinch and to be looking for less expensive solutions to meet the needs of the customers. Society of Manufacturing Engineers to Attend Berlin International Air Show

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) will participate at the Berlin International Air Show and will moderate an international panel on Continuous Improvement among OEMS and along the aerospace supply chain. While all panelists have not been confirmed, major U.S. and European OEMs and key suppliers are expected. Many believe that continuous improvement is no longer an option but has become a critical requirement essential to survival in the increasingly competitive marketplace. Don't miss this highly anticipated panel discussion – a part of the outstanding conference program at the Berlin International Air Show.
